Revision Rhinoplasty in Iran

Revision rhinoplasty is also commonly known as secondary rhinoplasty.

Revision rhinoplasty is often much more complicated to carry out than primary surgery. This is because the first surgery is the best time to correct the problems with the nose. • The first step in performing revision rhinoplasty is to ensure that the swelling has subsided, and the nose is fully healed after the initial surgery. Because performing the revision surgery too early may not only be ineffective in correcting nasal defects but may cause other problems as well.

A minimum of approximately 10 to 12 months must have passed since the initial surgery, which allows the swelling to completely subside and for the shape of the nose to become fixed, revealing the final results of the surgery.
