These types of dimples, which are also called Dimples of Venus, are not that common and few people are born with these indentations. These dimples are located in the lower back and are most commonly observed in women. As a matter of fact, at times the pelvic bones are structured in a way that causes these dimples.

This surgery is performed under local or general anesthesia. Two 5 mm incisions are made symmetrically in the designated areas and the adipose tissues under the skin are removed by liposuction in a spiral fashion.
