Jaw Reduction Procedure:

• Depending on the type of surgery, it may take 3 to 6 months to see the final outcome.
• The outcome of these operations is often long-lasting, though it is also affected by the patient lifestyle and weight stability. For example, if you gain weight significantly, your jaw angle may be affected.
• Although prostheses are permanent, they may be possibly displaced, requiring reconstructive surgery.
